Unique place with very amiable staff and stunning views. Comfortable and top location high on the hill, original style building. Also - right by restaurants and shops, wonderful National Parks, and Queensland. Strong drinks at bowling bar, very good service. Fun overall experience.

I liked this fantastic stay, would definitely return here. Original hotel, clean, courteous staff, location close to everything was favourable! Location: the venue was near the front gardens as well as Tenterfield was in the running to be the capital of soon-to-be federated Australia. I tried some drinks at bar Telegraph Hotel, located 20 minutes walk away.

Lovely old Historic Home with exceptional antique furniture. Despite some minor dusting issues, the building is beautiful and well-maintained. This hotel offers great value for money, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and beautiful antique furniture. The attention to detail in the decorations is somewhat over the top, but it adds to the gorgeous ambiance. The location on the main highway is convenient and provides a great view of both ends of town.
